Rob Bach, Founder
Rob has over thirty years’ experience working in music retail and distribution, including leadership roles with Virgin Megastores, Amazon, CD Baby. Rob learned to play violin and piano growing up. These days, you can catch up with his virtual DJ show in the links below.
Joel Andrew, Founding Partner
Joel has over fifteen years of music-tech and startup experience, including for industry leaders DistroKid, Soundrop, and CD Baby. Joel is a working musician and a champion of indie musicians and labels everywhere.
Sue Day, CFO
Sue brings over ten years of executive-level finance leadership to Spinney. In addition, Sue is an ADHD coach, published author, and pianist (plus there was that COVID ukulele phase).
Jeffrey “Chairman” Couch, Warehouse Lead
Chairman has over fifteen years of music retail and warehouse experience, including lead roles with CD Baby. Chairman is also a working musician, as his spastic Portland rock band Nasalrod (which he provides the main vocals for) has toured throughout various regions within the US. He loves singing, playing bass guitar, and adding stock from our artists to the Spinney Media platform.
Sam Waisanen, Operations Project Manager
Sam has over twenty years of experience working in music distribution, starting as a receiving clerk opening mail at CD Baby in 2002 and eventually managing the warehouse and physical distribution through 2024. Having created, recorded, and toured as a musician since high school, he has been on both sides of the music business.
